4/5/02 - "No one showed up to the first Teacher Appreciation Committee! We really need you to go to committee meetings. What is a committee? Well it's a place where the members of the committee can meet, decide, and plan how the event will occur. Those of you who helped out with Spring Fling know how hard it was to organize that event. Teacher Appreciation is another time-honored "AGS event" at Delta. We have to have it and make as big a success as possible. So please come to the next commitee meeting. Every Friday, 1:30 PM, Cunningham 416. "
    -Christy De L'isle

4/4/02 - "I've set up a website for the Teacher Appreciation Committee. The address is https://www.angelfire.com/rebellion/butterflyy/TeacherAppreciation.html. The teacher appreciation nominations are due Wednesday, April 24. The actual event will be on Friday, May 10 from 9 AM - 3 PM. Remember our first meeting is tomorrow, April 5th, at 1:30 PM in Cunningham 416. I hope to see you there."
    -Christy De L'isle

3/26/02 - "After a partial board meeting, we decided to have the Spring Fling this Thursday, March 28 from 12 to 6 PM. We would really appreciate your help."
-Event Coordinators Teresa Mercado & Johnny Wu

3/23/02 - "Spring Fling has been cancelled due to the rain. We might reschedule it. Date/Time TBA. Thanks to all those who signed up. We tried to call everyone who was on the list to inform them of the cancellation."
-Event Coordinators Teresa Mercado & Johnny Wu

3/20/02 - "Today is the first day of SPRING! But don't let the nice weather let you forget about finals coming soon. Also our spring break is right around the corner. Everyone has worked so hard and we all deserve it. To kick off the beginning of Spring Break we have our Spring Fling event this Saturday. The Spring Fling committee has done a great job of getting everything ready and we need to thank them, so, Thank You!"
    -Sada Munaro

3/14/02 - "Hi everyone. This is Christy from Alpha Gamma Sigma. I just wanted to remind everyone that the Teacher Appreciation Day Committee is going to start meetings on April 2nd. Meetings will be every Tuesday from 1:30-3:00 in the boardroom where regular meetings are held. For those of you already serving on the Spring Fling Committee, its all the same information to make the transition easy. Can't wait to see all you guys there. Thank you, ."
    -Christy De L'isle

3/13/02 - "I'd like to welcome our new co-publicist, David Daraseng. Dave will be working alongside Margie on making posters, banners, and other publicity things. "

3/13/02 - "Thanks to everyone that participated in the broomball tournament this last weekend. We kicked bum!!! ASB and International Club ate our ice shavings, hehe. You should be extremely proud of yourselves to get out there and represent our club. Also, thanks to the people that helped out with the volleyball tournament, that was a fun event. Most importantly, Spring Fling is coming up and we need your enthusiasm. There will be a list of things that we need at meeting, so check it out and see if you can contribute."
    -Sada Munaro

3/10/02 - "The AGS team won the broomball last night!!! We defeated ASB and International club, although we suffered injuries. This won our club $150 and a pizza party for all our members. We selected our next potluck, April 3, to be the date of that pizza party. Congratulations to those AGS members who participated in the Broomball tournament."
    -JWu

3/06/02 - "Well, guess there's only 3 people going to conference, all officers (Beth, Maha, and me). Go cheer on your fellow AGS members who are competing in the Broomball tournament Saturday night 10 PM - 1 AM at Oak Park Ice Rink (where else can you have ice?).

Permanent table hours will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-1. You'll get double points for being there during this time. 1 more point for helping to set up or clean up. Come on. There's so many of you who are so close to being active. There's simply no lack of opportunities to earn points. So get your butt out there and do something!"
    -JWu

3/06/02 - "Potluck for March Birthdays is this week! March 6th at 5 PM. Come join us and I promise you'll have fun. There will be a cake and much food to eat, so take a break from all of your studying and let loose. We will be discussing the conference and some concerns pertaining to the fees. Also, a big concern of ours as a club is our table hours. We need more people to get out there and represent the club. We will be out there every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 AM to 1 PM, try to make any time, even for half an hour! Lastly, the Dance is this Friday at 9 PM to 1 AM at UJ"s and the Broomball game is this Saturday at 10 PM - 1 AM at the Oak Park Ice Arena!"
    -Sada Munaro

3/02/02 - "Just reminding everybody who is interested in going to the AGS State Conference, the deadline to pay the $170 (includes room, meals, and conference costs for 3 days) is this Wednesday, March 6.

Voting is coming up. If you vote, you will get 1 community service point. Simply bring your voting stub into us to get your point. It's that easy!"
    -JWu

2/25/02 - "The AGS scholarship applications for the state conference are due in to us by March 13. The advisors will look over the applications and nominate the best two AGS members. What's there to lose? Print out an application out and fill it in!

Don't forget to show up to the committee for Spring Fling tomorrow. As this is the biggest AGS event, we need everybody to help out.

Christy Delisle and Steve Vicijan have switched positions due to time considerations. Christy will be the new Community Service Officer, and Steve will be the new ICC rep. This has already been voted on and will go into effect on Friday. Congrats to our two [new] officers!

Our club is growing rapidly. We are currently at 90 members and we have almost $4000 in our treasury. Keep up the good work everybody! "
    -JWu

2/20/02 - "Thanks everyone that was involved in the activites that went on in the past week. We were very successful in our Valentines Day flower sales, we made over $200.00! Also, thanks to all that helped with the dinner on Saturday and with the flea market cleanup. "

2/17/02 - "Hey how's everybody doing? Thanks to everyone who went to the Black Hall of Fame Dinner last night. It was a great success. The food was good too =). The AGS constitution is online. You can find the link in the Members section. Kudos to Amir for getting it typed up. Remember that there is no school Monday and Tuesday, so enjoy the rest of your lil vacation. "
    -JWu

2/13/02 - "So, how many of you beautiful AGS members have romantic dates for Valentines? For those that don't, Valentines is not only a time for romantic dates, its about giving love to others. So show some love to others. Love you guys!"
    -Sada Munaro

2/6/02 - "Hey everyone, last weeks meeting was great. I'm assuming everyone had a great time. I know we, your officers, had a great time, especially making a fool of ourselves. This meeting will be great. Food, music, and fun, what else could be better? Also, we are celebrating the February birthdays, and yes, there will be cake thanks to Bethany. "
    -Sada Munaro
